Highlights of the Institute's 4th Ethics Officers Certification Program (EOCP)

Ethics Institute of East Africa provides continuous support for promoting Ethics through research, capacity development, institutional reform and advisory service.

The institute sparked wide interest from the 18 participants who attended the first EOCP that was mounted from 19th to 23rd September, 2010 at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi.  It was facilitated by respected ethics and governance experts trainers: Prof Willem Landman, Liezl Grenwald and Prof Daniel Oruoch.

The five day program provided incisive presentations and discussions on Ethics concepts, the governance of Ethics and the Ethics of governance,  Ethics risks and opportunities assessment,
integrating Ethics into organizations functions and reporting and disclosing Ethics activities to all stakeholders.

Upon training and certified, the participants should institutionalize Ethics in their organizations. The 90 day practicum provides hands on experience and once completed successfully, it  enables participants to earn the prestigious Ethics Officers Certification by Ethics Institute of South Africa.
